INNOVATIVE E-Trikes will be providing pedal power to Leamington shoppers this weekend.
Warwick University is providing two E-Trikes – or pedicabs – as part of its Creative Futures programme, designed to ‘power-up’ small businesses.
As well as providing free access to offices, meeting spaces and mentors, the team also wanted a creative way of helping residents.
They came up with a fun, comfortable ride up and down the Parade, while it remains closed, to provide shoppers with free bus stop to shop transport.
The electric Pedicabs will run from today (Thursday) until Monday and will be stationed at the top and bottom of the closed off area of the Parade.
