ELDERLY people were left trapped in a house fire in Warwick.
Firefighters were called to Deansway in Woodloes Park at around 7pm on Tuesday (June 18) where there was a blaze in the kitchen.
Two people were trapped in the property by the smoke and were given survival advice over the phone by emergency services until crews arrived and rescued them.
Firefighters were at the scene for around an hour extinguishing the blaze and clearing smoke from the house.
The two people were taken to hospital by West Midlands Ambulance Service.
