Enterprising Radford Semele youngsters bank cash for Ukraine

Leamington Editorial 12th Jul, 2023   0

AN ENTERPRISING group of Radford Semele youngsters have been fundraising for Ukraine.

Robyn, Alice, Owen and Dia, from Radford Semele Social Club, have been baking, making homemade dog biscuits and selling toys among a host of other activities to bank cash for children in the war torn country.

They raised a total of £300 which will be passed on to the Polish Aid Centre in Leamington and will be enough to buy new shoes for 16 children.

And this is not the first time the generous quartet have raised cash for charity.

Last year they raised funds for the Red Cross.

The Polish Centre, based at Royal Priors shopping centre, has sent over 180 tons of aid and eight ambulances to Ukraine since March 2022.
