Festive fundraisers called to take part in Leamington's Santa Dash

FESTIVE fundraisers are being called to take part in The Myton Hospice’s famous Santa Dash in Leamington.

Dressed in a Santa suit or other festive clothing, participants can run, jog or walk around Victoria Park on Sunday December 14, setting off at 9am.

Santa himself will be congratulating everyone over the finish line and there will also be festive face painting, food vendors and an inflatable snow globe.

Youngsters under eight can take part in the Mini Dash starting at 10am.

There will also be a best dressed dog competition.

Natalie Walker, Myton’s events and campaigns manager, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing our Santa Dash back this year – a chance to bring our community together during the most magical time of the year, while raising vital funds so The Myton Hospices can continue to be here for everyone who needs us, now and in the future.”

The Myton Hospices is aiming to raise £60,000 from this event which could fund a hospice bed for more than 130 days.
