FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze at a barbers shop in Leamington.
Four engines rushed to the Turkish Golden Scissors shop on Warwick Street at around 3pm on Monday (January 1).
The fire is believed to have started in the laundry area of the building.
The owner of the shop took to facebook to thank people for their support.
He said: “Thank you very much for all the customers who called us today and who sent us messages, who did not leave us alone, and for the support they gave us.
“We can not thank you enough for this sensitivity.”
Fire fighters were at the scene for several hours, with the road outside the shop closed off while they put out the fire.
