A FORMER furniture shop in Leamington’s Old Town could be turned into a number of flats if plans are given the green light.
The owner hopes to turn 3 George Street – the former Leamington Furnishers shop – into six flats.
An application has been submitted to Warwick District Council to build a second floor on the currently empty building and create four two-bedroom flats and two one-bedroom flats.
But concerns have been raised about the lack of parking in the area due to the number of other flats in the street.
Council officers have yet to make a decision on the proposals.
