A FORMER nightclub which was the oldest in the town has been reduced to rubble to make way for huge flats.
Leamington hotspot Rio’s on Bedford Street has been demolished after nearly 50 years as a popular club.
In its place will be a four-storey block of eight flats each containing eight bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms.
The club closed last year shortly after being sold by long-time owner Chris Donnachie.
