FOUR-legged competitors hit the green at Lillington Bowling Club as part of the Bowls Big Weekend Open Day.
The bowls club opened its doors for people of all ages to have a go at flat green bowls on Sunday May 26.
And among the 40 visitors who dropped by were Derek and Anita and their two guide dogs Moose and Zelda.
Moose is Derek’s current guide dog and Anita is now retired.
They were all on hand to announce the final amount raised after Guide Dogs for the Blind was chosen as the club president’s charity for 2023.
The winner of the Name the Puppy campaign was also announced.
A tombola on the day raised even more cash for charity.
