AN UP-and-coming band from Kenilworth are set to grace the same stage as some music icons.
Ellis, Joe, Ash, and Aaron, members of band Five Foot Under, wowed judges and audiences alike with their original music during the Godiva Calling Under 18s final at The Tin Music and Arts in Coventry.
As a result, the band, who are all students from Kenilworth School and Sixth Form, have earned a spot on the main stage of the Godiva Festival in July.
Godiva Calling is a highly regarded competition that provides emerging artists from Coventry and Warwickshire with a platform to showcase their talents.
The Under 18s category, organized by Coventry Music, challenges young performers to present original compositions, highlighting creativity and innovation in music.
The final featured an impressive lineup of young musicians, but Five Foot Under’s stage presence and compelling sound set them apart, securing the top prize.
Other acts joining Five Foot Under on the Godiva Festival main stage include Grammy-winning electronic group Clean Bandit and BritRock icons Ocean Colour Scene.
