Golfers tee off in aid of Myton Hospice

Laura Kearns 30th Oct, 2017

GOLFERS who tee’d off for charity put an incredible £17,500 away for The Myton Hospices.

Nearly 30 teams took to the course at Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Course to take on 18 holes.

The day also included an auction, raffle and evening meal to boost the charity’s coffers.

‘Team Karen’ – who entered in memory of a loved one – came first after scoring top marks.

Hospice fundraiser Abigail Smith said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the teams who took part

“The event was a great success and it was fantastic to see so many people enjoying themselves whilst raising money for The Myton Hospices.”
