VOLUNTARY not-for-profit organisations in the district are invited to apply for grant funding to support the vital work they do for residents in need.
The grants are intended to support the work these groups do to strengthen communities, improve wellbeing and address challenges such as financial hardship, isolation and access to support services.
Warwick District Council’s communities spokesperson Coun Jim Sinnott said: “Our voluntary and community sector plays a vital role in supporting residents and strengthening our communities. This grants programme will support local organisations to continue to deliver practical and life-changing support where it is needed most, particularly at a time when many residents are facing real pressures.
“As part of the launch, the council will host an online grants workshop to help organisations to understand the the funding, eligibility, criteria and application process.”
Applications must be submitted by Monday May 25 at 5pm.
