Green-fingered help needed at Paintings Plantation

Laura Kearns 18th Sep, 2020

VOLUNTEERS are needed to help maintain a local plantation.

Paintings Plantation at Campion School is used by students to grow vegetables and for older people with dementia to visit with their carer.

But volunteers are needed to help keep it in good condition.

Volunteer Elizabeth Phillips said: “The transformation of this area of trees and pond has been remarkable in such a short period of time. From an impenetrable wilderness, to a place of tranquillity and colour, giving space for the birds and bugs to flourish and a place for peace and laughter. We cannot maintain it without the help of others, so please get in touch and donate your time, however much or little you can.”

Email or call Elizabeth on 01926 458 100 for more information.
