HISTORY-enthusiasts in Warwickshire are being invited to don their scrubs and travel back in time for a talk of a distinctly medical nature.
Warwickshire Local History Society (WLHS) is continuing its series of face-to-face talks on Tuesday (November 15) with a presentation entitled, “In Search of Health? Early Medical Services in Warwickshire, 1820s and after”.
The talk will be given by chairperson Dr John WIlmot and will concentrate on the Southam and Stratford areas in particular.
The lecture, held at Aylesford School in Warwick, will get underway at 7.30pm with tea and coffee served from 7pm.
There is no need to book and non-members can attend for just £3, refundable if they join the society on the day.
