A CEREMONY will mark Holocaust Memorial Day in Warwick.
The event will take place on the nationally recognised day on Thursday January 27, at 11am, by the War Memorial in Church Street.
It will be led by town mayor Richard Edgington alongside local school pupils. Poems will be read as wreaths are laid to remember the millions of Jews murdered in the Nazi Holocaust and those killed in more recent genocides in Rwanda, Cambodia, Bosnia and Darfur.
Mr Edgington said: “In doing this we join towns, cities and schools all over the world in spending some moments remembering the victims and horror of genocides and holocausts over the last century.”
