HOMEBASE in Warwick could be demolished to make way for supermarket Lidl.
The German supermarket has submitted a planning application to knock down the former DIY store on Emscote Road and build a new shop in its place.
But a number of residents have complained about the proposal and say it will add to traffic and air pollution issues already on the stretch of road.
They also say these will become worse if Lidl is granted permission as a branch of McDonalds has recently been given the green light.
