A GENEROUS donation is set to hit the right note with a neuro care charity based in Leamington.
Castel Froma Neuro Care, who won two awards at the 2025 Neurological and Complex Care Awards, provide permanent, respite and therapy services to over 100 people a year.
Residents are treated at either of the charity’s locations at Lillington House and Helen Ley House for a variety of complex, life-altering or life-limiting conditions, which requires expert care by the charity’s staff.
And Miller Homes, whose West Midlands region is now building housing in Leamington, has donated £1,250 to Castel Froma as part of the developer’s Community Fund initiative.
Marie Bawden, chief executive of Castel Froma Neuro Care, said: “We are very grateful for this donation from Miller Homes and its Community Fund.
“We will be using the funds awarded to Castel Froma to provide musical entertainment for our residents. This will be very exciting, and I know the residents are looking forward to the musical events we’re planning to host.”
Miller Homes West Midlands is currently building new homes close to Castel Froma at its Silver Willows development.
The developer runs its Community Fund project annually, with groups chosen twice throughout the year to receive up to £2,000 towards individual needs or for larger plans.
Carl Cooke, sales director for Miller Homes West Midlands, added: “More than 100 people every year are supported by Castel Froma for a variety of complex reasons, treated with a huge amount of care and respect, and we really felt compelled to do what we could to aid their work.
“Thankfully, through the charity’s application to our Community Fund, we have been able to provide £1,250 which will provide some musical joy to the current and future residents, which we’re really pleased about.”
