A HOMELESS shelter in Leamington which is ‘desperate’ for volunteers will be openings its doors for those interested in lending a hand.
Leamington Winter Support Night Shelter open every Friday and Saturday night to offer food and a bed to the homeless and vulnerably housed from 7.30pm to 10.30am.
And on Saturday (June 3) there will be an open night where people can see how the shelter operates and get a taste for volunteering.
One of the organisation’s founders, Susan Rutherford said:”Leamington Winter Support Night Shelter now operates all year round and as we are coming up to summer holidays for students – who make up a large percentage of our volunteers – we are desperate for new help.”
