HORRIBLE Histories were brought to life by youngsters at Warwick Castle celebrate World Book Day.
Author Terry Deary dropped in to talk Vicious Vikings, Terrible Tudors and Slimy Stuarts with pupils from Newburgh Primary School in the town.
Youngsters dressed as characters from the series and created a living timeline of the book series in front of the castle.
They then had fun getting lost in the maze before receiving signed books from the author.
