HOSPITAL bosses are ‘delighted’ after receiving a congratulatory letter from Jeremy Hunt.
The health secretary visited South Warwickshire Foundation Trust earlier this year and has now congratulated staff for achieving a high rate on their Friends and Family test results.
The test shows whether hospital visitors would recommend the trust as a place to receive treatment, and an impressive 95 per cent say they would.
The results are compiled on a monthly basis, and the hospital consistently scores high.
Jeremy Hunt said: “From visiting organisations across the country I know the immense amount of work which will have been behind this outcome cannot be underestimated.
“My congratulations to all those who work at the trust, the service they give makes a difference to the lives of many of the area’s sickest and most vulnerable patients.”
And chief executive Glen Burley echoed the health secretary’s testament to trust staff.
He said: “We have been able to achieve this thanks to our exceptionally hard working and compassionate workforce. I would like to thank each and every member of staff, your commitment enables us to provided first class care to our local communities.”
