INSPIRATIONAL hospice staff have given a treat as part of a Leamington hotel’s ‘Giving Back’ campaign.
Mallory Court Hotel and Spa, on Harbury Lane, has made a donation from every residential package it sold over the festive period to create a special hamper for staff at The Myton Hospices.
The luxury hamper included Fortnum & Mason food, flowers and chocolates, and lotions from the on-site Elan Spa, to help spread cheer to the staff.
Louise Evans, Revenue Manager at Mallory Court Hotel: said: “We launch our Giving Back campaign every year as a way to recognise and give back to community in some way.
“We all know somebody who has used the services of The Myton Hospices. We wanted to show our appreciation to all of the fantastic staff who make such a difference to people and their families when they need it most.”
All hotels within the boutique Eden Hotel Collection have chosen a local charity to support as part of their annual Giving Back campaign.
The Mallory Court Hotel has chosen The Myton Hospices for two years running.
The Myton Hospices has been providing care and support for people living with terminal illnesses, and their families, in Warwickshire since 1982, and has hospices in Warwick, Coventry and Rugby.
A spokesperson from The Myton Hospices said: “We would like to say a big thank you to Mallory Court Hotel for supporting Myton for the second year running.
“Our staff work really hard to look after our patients and their families and it means so much for them to be recognised and to be able to enjoy some extra-special treats. None of our work would be possible without the amazing support of our local community.”
