IT’S beginning to look a lot like knit-mas in Leamington.
The Woolpack has decorated the recently restored bandstand in the Pump Room Gardens for Christmas.
Snowflakes, musical notes and snowballs have all been knitted and crocheted by ladies in the knitting group.
Its members all live in the local area and meet fortnightly to share their passion for knitting and forge friendships.
They also enjoy working collectively on local projects and were invited to decorate the bandstand by Warwick District Council.
The daunting challenge of knitting and crocheting enough decorations began.
And the challenge is now complete – with the bandstand dressed up in “winter whites” in time for the festive period.
