Kenilworth residents open their garden gates to visitors

GREEN-fingered Kenilworth residents are opening their garden gates to visitors this weekend.

Twelve gardens in the town are taking part in the National Open Gardens event on Sunday (June 18).

The gardens will be open from 12 noon until 5.30pm and combined admission costs £7.

Children go free and dogs are welcome on short leads.

A variety of gardens styles will be on display including four new openers.

There will be homemade teas and a plant sale.

And all the cash raised will go to cancer nursing charities.
