Kenilworth theatre community raise curtain on new defibrillator

THE STAGE has been set for saving lives at Priory Theatre in Kenilworth.

A defibrillator has been installed on the exterior of the building giving the whole community access to the device.

Anna Cousins, whose husband Jonathan died in 2022 of a cardiac arrest, has overseen a bequest from her late husband to have the defibrillator installed at the theatre.

It has been made possible thanks to the generosity of a long-standing member of the Priory Theatre with input from Kenilworth HeartSafe.

This new defibrillator will be available 24 hours a day to users of the theatre but also to anyone taken ill in Abbey Fields Park and the surrounding areas.
