Kenilworth youngster is sitting pretty on new 'Theraplay' tricycle

A KENILWORTH youngster now has a specialised ‘Theraplay’ tricycle thanks to the Kenilworth Lions and Round Table.

Anya O’Callaghan, who is four years-old and unable to walk without assistance, is now the proud owner of the trike which will help develop her muscles and strengthen her core.

Mum and dad Julie and John said: “We are delighted to have received support from the charities to purchase a specialised trike. Anya proudly rides it and enjoys being with her sisters.

“She can ride it independently, be pushed along or hitch it to our bikes for a tow. It means we can continue cycling as a family.

“The trike is great for Anya’s muscles and core stability – it’s such fun that she doesn’t realise all the hard work she is putting in.”
