LOCALS are being asked to nominate their NHS health heroes.
The NHS Parliamentary Awards were introduced by NHS England to recognise the work of health and social care workers across the country.
Honours include the ‘Excellence in Healthcare Award’, ‘Health Equalities Award’ and ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’.
And Warwick and Leamington MP Matt Western is calling on constituents to nominate local heroes.
He said: “In normal times the NHS is fantastic, but at a time when we most needed them, local workers here in Warwick and Leamington have stepped up this year to support us in ways which are truly exceptional.
“Earlier this year I announced that I will be hosting my own constituency-focused awards for community excellence, which NHS workers will of course play an important part. It would be great to also have the work of local NHS workers recognised nationally in the NHS Parliamentary Awards.”
