COMMUNITY groups and charities in Leamington have received a boost totalling £17,523.
Leamington Town Council holds three rounds of community grant awards each year in June, September, and December. The grants, of up to £2,000 per award, are available to non-profit organisations and local groups to assist with specific projects. This was the first round of grants awarded for 2025.
The town’s mayor Coun Ruggy Singh said: “It is fantastic to see so many local groups, across the range of arts, sports and wellbeing, doing such important work in our town. The Community Grant Fund is one way the town council can help support that work helping to enrich the lives of residents and visitors alike.”
The 18 projects supported this time round include Arts Uplift CIC, Brunswick Hub, Leamington Cricket Club. Lillington Olympic Festival, New Hope Counselling and Warwickshire Pride.
The deadline for the next funding round is Friday August 15.
