THE POLISH community gathered in Leamington to commemorate a milestone anniversary.
The commemorative event, to mark the 105th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence, was held at The Police Centre on Remembrance Sunday (November 12).
Town dignitaries including Warwick District Council’s chair Coun Sidney Syson and Leamington mayor Coun Alan Boad were joined by war veterans for the important event which marked Poland’s journey to independence, as well as the sacrifices made along the way.
