M40 closed after pedestrian struck by lorry

THE M40 has been closed off after a pedestrian was hit by a lorry.

Police have closed the southbound carriageway between J16 and J15 near Hockley Heath at around around 3.50am this morning (May 8).

Warwickshire police said: “Motorists are advised of tailbacks and to find an alternative route.

“Police and Highways England are working to keep disruption to a minimum for motorists and get traffic flowing as soon as possible.”
