THE BRITISH Motor Museum will be stepping up a gear thanks to new funding from Arts Council England.
The venue will receive a £880,000 cash injection over the next five years towards new learning programmes, community and school outreach activity, and improved disabled access.
The investment will also support two new exhibitions at the museum in 2019 and 2021, as well as a digital archive that can be viewed online.
Tim Bryan, head of collections at the museum said: “This funding will help to ensure the resilience of the museum in the future and cement our reputation as one of the most important exhibits in the region”.
