Myton Hospice planning social media 'thunderclap'

A CHARITY is calling on supporters to help make a difference in a day.

The Myton Hospices, which has centres in Warwick, Rugby and Coventry, needs help to raise £3,220 – enough to fund a patient for a week – in just 24 hours on Tuesday November 28.

Myton is joining charities across the globe in the world’s biggest one-day fundraising campaign #GivingTuesday which aims to encourage people to think of those in need at a time of year when many are celebrating and giving and receiving gifts.

The charity is encouraging supporters to get involved on social media by signing up to take part in a Myton Thunderclap. This is a mass tweet or status which will be sent from individual Twitter and Facebook accounts at a certain time on #GivingTuesday.

Sign up for free at www.thunderclap.it and search Myton.
