Off to Neverland for Myton Summer Fete

Leamington Editorial 9th Jun, 2017   0

MYTON Hospital is celebrating its 35th birthday in Neverland.

The Warwick hospice is set to open its doors for its annual summer fete on Sunday July 16, from noon to 4pm.

There will be an inflatable pirate ship, a hunt for hidden treasure, an auction and the chance to explore the fairy kingdom in the hospice grounds. Visitors can also get into character by creating a swashbuckling outfit at the craft stall and having their face painted.

There will also be entertainment in the form of live music and performances from local dance groups.

Some 40 stalls will also be selling everything from books to local produce and when it’s time to stop for refreshments there will be a tea and cake tent, ice cream van, BBQ and a bar and Pimms tent – to name just a few.

Events team leader Lucy Turner said: “The Summer Fete is a fantastic local event where all the community comes together to support The Myton Hospices. This year we will be transforming the grounds into Neverland, so expect lots of pirates, fairies and pixie dust.

“We have all sorts of stalls, games and entertainment so it will be a brilliant day out for the whole family to enjoy. If anyone can assist with sourcing items for our stalls, prizes and/or auction items we would love to hear from you.”
