Partners in law aim to leave lasting legacy

Leamington Editorial 16th Jun, 2023   0

TWO new partners are aiming to leave a lasting legacy at a Leamington law firm.

Sophia Mellor, head of family law, and Jagdeep Sandher, head of dispute resolution, have both taken up their partnerships at Blythe Liggins Solicitors.

Sophia, who qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and joined Blythe Liggins in 2018, is a family solicitor specialising in all aspects of matrimonial law including divorce, separation, financial remedies and childcare.

Sophia said: “From the day I joined, I felt that I had found my ‘forever work family’. The whole team, including partners, have the same ethos and all have a number of qualities in common, including kindness and courtesy to everyone.

“I hope to make a positive mark for Blythe Liggins and to leave a lasting legacy, not just for the family department, but for Blythe Liggins as a whole.”

Jagdeep joined Blythe Liggins in 2021 and was awarded the Legal 500 Recommended Lawyer Status in 2017.

He said: “I feel very proud to be a partner at Blythe Liggins and will continue to provide all clients with sensible and pragmatic advice.

“Being a partner also carries its own responsibilities and I will uphold, and strengthen, the well-respected reputation that Blythe Liggins has built over the years with our clients and with the community.”
