Laura Kearns 19th Nov, 2019 Updated: 19th Nov, 2019

THE FORMER Peacocks clothing store in Leamington is set to be demolished to make way for shops and 26 flats.

Developers Tag Properties say the building on Warwick Street has fallen into disrepair and permission has now been granted by Warwick District Council to knock it down and rebuild.

The ground floor will be used as shop space, while five floors above will house 26 one to three bed flats with an entrance from Oxford Row.
