Performers to help raise cash towards Leamington Peace Festival

PERFORMERS are giving their time to raise cash for Leamington Peace Festival.

The event takes place on April 17 at St Patrick’s Irish Club from 7pm until midnight.

Benji Kirkpatrick, who is well known on the folk-rock circuit both as a solo artist and as a member of Bellowhead, will play a selection of his music which could include parts of his Hendrix with a twist set.

Satsangi, who describe their music as blending Indie riffs with Sanskrit vibes and tripped out psych, are second on the line-up, and closing the event will be Dr Trippy with his Punjabi swamp music.

There will also be merchandise and a memorabilia auction.

And Cajun Kitchen will be selling street food.

Visit www.tinyurl.com/pf-benefit for tickets costing £10.

All profits will go towards putting on the Peace Festival in July.

A crowdfunder has also been set up to pay for the festival.
