Plans to demolish former storage yard to make way for flats given go ahead

Leamington Editorial 22nd Jan, 2021   0

PLANS to demolish a former storage yard to make way for flats and offices have been given the green light.

Warwick District Council’s planning committee has approved demolishing the yard and workshop previously used by Midland Metal Recycling at Holly House on Queensway.

A four-storey block will be built on the site which will include ten flats, offices and a complementary health suite offering therapies including reflexology, acupuncture and physiotherapy.

A number of objections were raised to the plans, with residents concerned about parking, being overlooked by the development and the flats housing students.
