POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a fatal crash in Princethorpe.

A motorcyclist was travelling along the Oxford Road from Southam towards Ryton around 9.15pm on Saturday (July 11) when he collided with a Fiat Bravo travelling in the opposite direction.

Ambulance crews spent 40 minutes trying to save the biker’s life after his heart stopped following the crash, which had thrown his bike 100 metres down the road.

The 32-year-old car driver and his passenger – a little boy – did not require hospital treatment after the collision.

Police are calling for witnesses of the crash or anyone who saw the vehicles leading upto the incident to call them on 101.
