A RECORD number of santas and reindeers descended on the Pump Room Gardens to raise money for Myton Hospice.
Some 1,200 people in fancy dress took on the 5km course to help raise money for the hospice’s child bereavement counselling sessions.
Frozen characters Anna and Elsa stopped by to perform hits from the film and children shared their wishes with the man himself in Santa’s grotto.
Events coordinator Lucy Turner said: “We are absolutely thrilled with this year’s Santa Dash. This was our most popular Santa Dash ever and it was absolutely incredible to see over one thousand Santas and reindeer dashing around the centre of Leamington.
“Our events really rely on the support of the local community and we have been overwhelmed with everyone’s support this year. Whether that has been through the participants themselves, local businesses or our amazing volunteers, we want to say a huge thank you to each and every person who supported this year’s event.”
