A DETERMINED runner has taken part in a half marathon to raise money for Warwick Hospital’s cancer care unit.
Kirstie Cestaro raised more than £1,300 for the Aylesford Unit, where her friend Jennifer Stuart has been receiving treatment for breast cancer.
Kirstie wanted to say thank you to the team that looked after her friend, explaining: “Jennifer received much-needed care and support from the staff at Warwick Hospital during a very difficult time.
“I want to help raise funds to say thank you and hope it will help to ensure other patients receive the same high level of care”.
