RESIDENTS are being invited to save the pennies while helping the planet at Leamington’s repair cafe.
The town’s next repair cafe is being held on Saturday (October 7).
Volunteers will be on hand at the SYDNI Centre from 11am and 2pm to repair all those items that may otherwise end up in the bin.
The UK is one of the top ten generators of electrical waste in the world, so keeping small electrical items going for a bit longer is not only good for people’s purses but for the planet as well.
But at Repair Cafe Leamington the volunteers don’t just repair electrical items. The list includes bikes, toys, sewing repairs, furniture, and ornaments among many other things.
Repairs are free, but donations are welcome.
