School sleepover highlights plight of Leamington's homeless

A SLEEPOVER at a Leamington School highlighted the plight of the town’s homeless community.

Year seven pupils at Trinity School spent the night sleeping on the floor in the school’s theatre and sports hall.

Sidney Syson from Leamington Night Shelter dropped by to talk about life as a homeless person and was presented with a donation of £180 from the school.

During the evening the pupils enjoyed a barbecue and toasted marshmallows with support from local scouts.
