THE JOY of music is set to spread across Warwickshire thanks to a brand new partnership.

Warwick Independent Schools Foundation and the Orchestra of the Swan have teamed up to deliver musical workshops to schools across the county.

In partnership with the Warwickshire Music Hub, the scheme will provide all children and young people with access to the foundation’s music facilities at Warwick Hall in Myton Road.

As part of the partnership, Orchestra of the Swan will perform three concerts in the new purpose-built hall, creating a concert series for Warwickshire residents.

These will take place on January 20, March 17 and June 18.

Foundation principal Richard Nicholson said: “We are delighted to be breaking new ground by entering a new and unique partnership with the Orchestra of the Swan.

“We are proud to be able to offer new musical opportunities to pupils in local schools, residents of the local area and our own foundation pupils. Working with the Orchestra of the Swan and Warwickshire Music Hub is a wonderful way to enable more people to access outstanding music-making”.
