Leamington Editorial 23rd May, 2019   0

PARENTS and carers of young children are being offered a helping hand supporting their child’s emotional development.

Advice on understanding and supporting healthy development and attachment for children aged three to 11 will be offered at free sessions in Leamington.

The coffee morning and advice session by emotional wellbeing and mental health service Rise is being held at Dormer Place Conference Centre on Thursday June 13 from 9.30am to 11am.

It will give advice on how to help a child develop healthy emotions and explain what emotional development looks like at different ages.

And professionals working with children and young people can find out more about attachment at a workshop on Thursday July 11, also at Dormer Place.

It will include strategies for helping children build a development and feel secure.
