THE GENEROSITY of Leamington shoppers has been praised by staff at Myton Hospice.
Multiple bags of clothing were donated to the charity during the Royal Priors ‘Spring Clean Your Look’ event.
Donations are vital to the charity – which last year helped more than 1,400 people across the region – as less than 25 per cent of funds comes from the NHS.
Allison McKellar from the hospice’s Warwick Street store said: “I’m delighted with how the event went and with how many items of clothing were donated.”
“It was fantastic to work in partnership with Royal Priors and we had a great response from visitors to the centre throughout the course of the day.
“The event also provided a great way of talking to people about the work that we do and how they can get involved.”
