THE DRIVER killed in a crash near Southam yesterday (Thursday, June 26) has been named as 24-year-old Jennifer Fennell.
The Southam resident died after her car collided with a van at around 6.20am on the A425 Leamington Road at the Harbury/Bascote junction.
Two men in the van, both in their 40s, suffered minor injuries and received treatment at the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “From the outset, it was apparent nothing could be done to save the woman driver who was confirmed dead at the scene.”
