Southam Library latest to reopen

Leamington Editorial 20th Aug, 2020   0

SOUTHAM Library has reopened from today (Thursday).

Warwickshire County Council is opening its library services in a phased approach with Southam the 11th to reopen.

It will be open from 10am to 3pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10am to 1pm on Saturdays. The building will be closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The number of people allowed inside will be limited, and face coverings are mandatory.

Warwickshire County Council customer and transformation spokesperson Kam Kaur said: “We are very happy to be able to start re-opening our libraries to residents again in a way that will help keep our customers and staff safe.

“We know that people have missed visiting our libraries over the past few months, so this is another positive step forward as we work on the phased recovery and reopening of our facilities.

“Our other library buildings remain closed just for the time being – although we have ten other library locations offering the ‘Click and Collect’ service – but there will be further announcements about the opening of more libraries around the county very soon.”
