Staff assaulted in reported Warwick shop robbery

ROBBERS who targeted a shop in Warwick reportedly demanded money from the safe and assaulted a member of staff.

Three men followed staff into One Stop on Chase Meadow Square at around 6am yesterday (Monday June 12).

The robbers – who all had their faces covered and wore gloves – demanded money from the safe and then assaulted a member of staff before taking off with money, cigarettes and a handbag.

One of the men is described as white, in his early 30s, around 6ft and stocky. He was wearing a light blue Adidas hooded top with dark grey tracksuit trousers and black trainers.




The second man was white, in his early 30s, around 6ft and stocky. He wore tracksuit trousers.

The third man was also white, around 6ft and slightly smaller than the other two suspects. He wore tracksuit trousers and trainers.


Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or ring 0800 555 111 to speak to Crimestoppers anonymously.
