Students share religious understanding

STUDENTS at Trinity School in Leamington have showcased their understanding of world religions.

The school’s EMMAUS students have been studying five major world religions as part of their religious education lessons – Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, and Hinduism.

Their work culminated in a special event where they presented their learning to the fellow students.

As part of this project, they created presentations and art displays, which they shared with students from Years 7 to 10 and Peter’s Place.

This cross-year initiative was also a celebration of diversity, understanding, and respect for different faiths and cultures.

Trinity Catholic School’s EMMAUS Foundation Programme offers an opportunity to support newly arrived students in the country with diverse educational backgrounds.

The courses offered include mathematics, English language, ICT, PSHE and PE. Additionally, students whose English proficiency allows them to engage without language barriers have the option to join Year 10 GCSE classes and follow a two-year GCSE course to exams, helping their academic progression.
