A BRING what you can and take what you need event is being held in Leamington on Thursday (October 20).
Anyone struggling to make ends meet can come along and help themselves to free clothing, school uniform, bedding and food at the Westbury Centre in Westlea Road between 10am and 8pm.
There is also the option to donate items.
A buffet lunch will be available and refreshments will be served throughout the day.
The event has been organised by local youth work charity Young People First, led by Katrina Welton, who said that since the end of September they have been receiving requests for help from families hit by the rising cost of living daily.
As a result, Katrina decided to pull together an event to support the local community, which will be attended by Leamington Mayor Nick Wilkins as well as charity representatives from Coventry United women’s football club.
