Talk to shine spotlight on Adrian Shooter's railway achievements

A TALK on the life and achievements of Adrian Shooter is on track to bank cash for charity.

The talk – entitled A Life of Entrepreneurial Public Service – will be given by former Chiltern Railways Director Ian Baxter and will talk about the life of Mr Shooter – 1948 to 2022 – who transformed railway services in Leamington and Warwickshire.

Mr Baxter, now President of Friends of Leamington Station, will pay tribute to Mr Shooter’s life, vision and achievements. And all the cash raised will go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The talk takes place on Thursday April 13 from 7.30pm until 9pm at the Royal Pump Rooms in Leamington.

Admission costs £5 and the event has been organised by the Leamington Society and Friends of Leamington Station.
