A TECHNICOLOURED fundraiser has banked vital cash for a Sydenham primary school.
Youngsters at St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School took part in a Colour Run on Friday (May 26).
The rainbow-tastic event, which sees participants run the gauntlet of pots of paint, was organised by the school’s PTFA to raise much needed funds for the school.
And it may even have earned St Anthony’s a place in the history books as the first school in Leamington to take part in a colour run.
Becky Richardson, from the PTFA, said she hoped the event would inspire other schools in the area to do the same thing.
On the day there was also a visit from a fire engine, a bar and a sweet stall.
The total cash raised is still being totted up.
